Hi, Your answer is C.

Mexico banned slavery in the year 1830, but I don't see anything saying they enforced it much in Texas. Sorry, I'm not very knowledgeable on the subject, but I do know for a fact that Texas did partake in slavery (from my Missouri Compromise notes.)

Answer:

Wade-Davis Bill

Explanation:

Also, the Southern states needed to give freed slaves the right to vote and choose the government. Congress passed the Wade-Davis Bill, but President Abraham Lincoln did not sign it because it was not in his liking. Lincoln continued to promote tolerance and planed for the reconstruction.
