The pressure is extremely high at the bottom of the ocean floor because of the increasing hydrostatic pressure. This hydrostatic (fluid) pressure is directly proportional to the increasing depth of the ocean. For every 10 meters (approximate), there is an increase in the hydrostatic pressure by about 14.5 psi.  

So, extreme pressure is found at the bottom of this trench.
