Sonja [21]

Answer:

Approximately 8,000 years ago, changes in wheat occurred as humans chose plants that did not shatter and therefore held seeds on the plant making it easier to harvest the grain.

Explanation:

8000 years ago when wheat mature, some varieties shatter and maturity while others keep their wheat spikes intact. Shattering in wheat is an undesirable process in agriculture as it makes harvesting more difficult. Over the millenia, humans decided to plant only wheat that hold their seeds at maturity and do not shatter as this make it easier to harvest the grain. This led to a reduction in the number of wheat varieties that shatter.

What could they add to their argument against slavery that would make their argument stronger or more convincing?
nydimaria [60]

Answer:

If I were to add something that would make my argument against slavery more convincing I would probably say something like what is the roles were switched, would you want to be a slave?

When people went to Africa or when they bought slaves they would often say something like it was in the bible and because of this that it was okay when this was not true so you could possibly use that to help your argument against it. There are probably better answers out there but I wrote a argument against slavery once and I used this stuff in and got a pretty good grade.
