I think the answer is B as well because when you divide 3 by 5 you get .6 then you divide 8 by .6 to get 13.333333... and sense you can't have one third of a person at a party so you would round but then again the answer doesn't say that there isn't amputees at the party so it could be D.

algol13

Answer:

A=\dfrac{1}{2}(10s+14d)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

He makes $10 per hour making  sandwiches, and $14 per hour delivering orders.

Let there are s sandwiches and d is delivering orders.

Eric puts half of his total earnings in a  savings account for college.

The expression that represents the total amount of money Eric saves for working s hours making sandwiches and d hours delivering orders.

A=\dfrac{1}{2}(10s+14d)

Hence, this is the required solution.

PLZ HLP ASAP!!<br> [9(14 + 16) • 2 – (8 • 4 + 12 • 9)] ÷ 40
lara [203]
\frac{9(14+16)*2-(8*4+12*9)}{40} \\&#10;\frac{(9*2)(14+16)-[(8*4)+(12*9)]}{40}\\&#10;\frac{(18*30)-(32+108)}{40}\\&#10;\frac{540-140}{40}\\&#10;\frac{400}{40}\\&#10;10
So the expression is equal to 10.
