6. Why does meiosis increase genetic variation in the offspring, but mitosis does not? (1 point)

Meiosis involves crossing over where chromosomes exchange genetic segments, resulting in different sets of chromosomes. Each time an egg or sperm created, it is different due to this recombination. Mitosis on the other hand is non-sex cells replicating exact copies of themselves which lead to no genetic variation as they aren't involved in producing offspring.

Give examples to show that plastic are non-corrosive in nature
34kurt

Answer:

Plastics are non-corrosive in nature because they do not react with air, water or other substances. They do not get corroded even if they come in contact with strong chemicals. This is because of their non-reactive nature with most materials. For example, the cleansing chemicals that we use at home are stored in plastic bottles, instead of metal containers. I know its late but I still hope it helped.  :)

Ludmilka [50]

Such stability is important for an adjoining one because it allows the sphere of influence and boundaries to extend beyond its boundaries. This results in impacting changes to adjoining ecosystems. I hope that this is the answer that you were looking for and it has helped you.
