The Holocaust lasted from 1941 till 1945 however Jews were being killed in Germany since 1933, so it would be 1933 to 1945 and that makes 12 years. Approximately 5 and 6 millions Jews were killed, 1.5 million were children. But it's impossible to exactly how many Jews were killed since their deaths were in different events such as the concentration camps (ex: Auschwitz)

Afina-wow [57]
The reason why the area of the City of New Orleans which is in the Delta of Great River were not flooded is because these areas are geographically covered by natural leeves of the river,  these leeves are higher in elevation compared as compared to the adjacent areas, thus the flood water wouldn't have reached these high points.<span />

In the context of Hinduism and Buddhism, Divine Origin refers to the king of the universe or whole universe.
Ludmilka [50]

Answer:

In Hinduism, the whole universe was created by Brahma. In Buddhism, there exist many "Buddhas" who are people who awakened (Nirvana), and stopped the process of reincarnation. Buddhism has no creator god to explain the origin of the universe. Instead, it teaches that everything depends on everything else: present events are caused by past events and become the cause of future events.

What problem did sarah and rachel have in common (that was eventually resolved for both)?
Brilliant_brown [7]
I believe this should be Sarah from the bible. In this case, both were not bearing children and were barren until The GOd of Israel opened their womb and the bore children. sarah only bore Isaac and died at the age of 120+ years, while Rachel died in child birth after giving Joseph the great and Benjamin.
