8n = -3m + 1
n = -2, 2,4
first add -2, 2 and 4 which = 4
then do 8(4) = -3m +1 which makes 24 = -3m +1 so subtract 1 on both sides then you have 23 = -3m divde -3 on both sides which equal -7.66 or 8

I'm thinking you want us to solve for m when n=-2 and 2 and 4

let's solve for m first
minus 1 from both sides then divide by -3
m=\frac{8n-1}{-3}

so for n=-2
m=\frac{8(-2)-1}{-3}=\frac{-16-1}{-3}=\frac{-17}{-3}=\frac{17}{3}
when n=-2, m=17/3

for n=2
m=\frac{8(2)-1}{-3}=\frac{16-1}{-3}=\frac{15}{-3}=-5
m=-5 when n=2

for n=4
m=\frac{8(4)-1}{-3}=\frac{32-1}{-3}=\frac{31}{-3}=\frac{-31}{3}
m=-31/3 when n=4

A group of children share 11 3/7 vegetarian pizzas. Each child receives 10/14 of a pizza. How many children are in the group
7nadin3 [17]
8 children because
11 3/7 is equal to 83/14
If each child receives 10/14
83/10
= 8.3
There can't be .3 of a child so round it and you get 8!
Hope this helps!

If f(x)=2x^3+5√(x-2) complete the following statement, f(6)=
solong [7]

Answer: 442

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x)=2x^3+5\sqrt{(x-2)}

f(6)

Simply replace all the x's in the equation for 6

f(6)=2(6)^3+5\sqrt{(6-2)}\\ f(6)=2(216)+5\sqrt{4}\\ f(6)=432+5*2\\f(6)=432+10\\f(6)=442

Find the product: (30 gallons 3 quarts 1 pint) × 5
maks197457 [2]

Answer:

Please mark me brainliest!!!!!!!

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1:

Multiply each by 5, then make any necessary conversions to the other units of measurement (ie. gallon, quart, etc)

30 gallons x 5= 150 gallons

3 quarts x 5= 15 quarts

1 pint x 5= 5 pints

Step 2:

CONVERSION

1 gallon=4 quarts

1 gallon= 8 pints

1 quart= 2 pints

GALLONS: 150 gallons

QUARTS:

=15 quarts ÷ # quarts in gallon

=15/4= 3 gallons 3 quarts

PINTS:

=5 pints ÷ # pints in quart

=5/2= 2 quarts 1 pints

TOTALS:

150 gallons

3 gallons 3 quarts

2 quarts 1 pint

Since we have 5 additional quarts, and we know that 4 quarts=1 gallon, we need to convert again.

=3 quarts + 2 quarts

=5 quarts ÷ # quarts in gallon

=5/4 = 1 gallon 1 quart

FINAL TOTALS

GALLONS: 150 + 3 + 1= 154 gallons

QUARTS: 1 quart

PINTS: 1 pints
