Augusto Pinochet, a Chilean general and a political dictator reigned from 1973 to 1990.  Being born in a native family of Chile on 25th November 1915 in Valparaiso. Augusto was ambitious form his childhood. He started his military carrier at a very primary age and gave his service at coal Zone of Lota. In 1956, he was chosen for a military assignment to work together with the “Organization of War academy” of Ecuador of Quito.

Augusto assumed his power as President of Chile in 1981 along with the support of USA after overthrowing Salvador Allende. United States played a very vital role in his succession. His 17 years rule includes Plebiscite of 1980 that drafted the constitution by appointed commissioners. It led to the election of presidency and congress, in which 56% of votes were cast against the continuation of Augusto as President.
