One factor that would be problematic for European Powers in their quest for having power over Mexico was the support of the US, which had its interest in showing European countries that they should not try to intervene in America's affairs. At the time however, the US was occupied with the Civil War, so Napoleon believed that his invasion could be successful.

lutik1710 [3]

The Phoenicians came into contact with many other cultures who borrowed their ideas and customs when they traveled to trade. The Phoenicians sailed to trade and establish colonies where they spread their culture and economy. They sailed across the Mediterranean—through the Greek islands, southern Europe, the Atlantic Coast of Africa and Britain. What happen to the
development activities in the absence
of public participation? Elucidate.
Sav [38]

Answer:

- Reduction in interest for people to join the activity.

- Harder implementation.

Explanation:

Development activities tend to be created by the government if they wanted to increase the quality of workforce that they have. They usually do this through courses or public presentation.

If the government let some members of the public to participate, it can contribute to the overall success of these activities.

For example, the government can cooperate with the people that have high respect in a certain community to advocate for the program. These type of people have the power to inspire other member of the communities to participate in the programs.

Removing public participation will make the activities look like another effort from politicians to gained support rather than activities that created to genuinely help the people.
