The important life processes are nutrition, transportation, metabolism, reproduction, respiration, and excretion. Nutrition is the process of taking food by an organism and utilization of food for energy. This is a vital process which helps living beings to obtain their energy from various sources. Transportation and transportation system in plants and animals are entirely different. In animals, transportation is carried out through the circulatory system. This system includes heart, blood, and blood carrying blood vessels. Metabolism is the process in which different types of chemical reactions involved in controlling the living state of the cells in an organism. Reproduction is the biological process of reproducing their own offspring the continuity of species, generation after generation. Respiration includes the exchange of gases as well as burning of food. Animals have a well defined respiratory system for respiration. Elimination of toxic and waste substances from the body is called excretion. Plants produce waste products in the form of two gases

The average female Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua) produces two million eggs in a single spawning. How does this relate to natural s
Alex Ar [27]
This is a typical example of R selection life strategy. These species, including the Atlantic cod, produce a large number of offspring with a low chance of surviving to adulthood. This strategy is particularly successful in environments that are unstable. The main advantage of this strategy in changing environments is that the ''cost'' of making offspring is very low, so you the species can produce large numbers offspring, ensuring that at least some of them will survive into adulthood and continue the species.
Natural selection, in this case, favors the individuals that are able to adapt the fastest to the changing conditions.

PLEASE HELP I WILL GOVE BRAINLIEST!! What do mutations cause?
goblinko [34]
Mutations can lead to changes in the structure of an encoded protein or to a decrease or complete loss in its expression. Because a change in the DNA sequence affects all copies of the encoded protein, mutations can be particularly damaging to a cell or organism.
