After WW1 finished, Germany was left in a complete mess. It used to be a Federal Monarchy before and during the war. However, the ideology of FASCISM quickly rose in both Germany and Italy. Once Adolf Hitler and the Nazi's took over, FASCISM is what the Government was primarily based off.

This is related to the international organization because it speaks of a rupture of unity between these countries that abruptly breaks the diplomatic relations that previously existed and were fine.

During building the Canal more than 25,000 people died, mostly because of disease. Over 20,000 people died when the French set a hope to build the canal, and  5,000 died when the Americans did it successfully. It is a really huge sacrifice.
