Answer:

Area of of the doghouse which is in the shape of right trapezoid is 66.5 square feet.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider a right trapezoid with top side AB is 7 feet and height AD is 7 feet. The bottom side DC is extended to the right with 5 more feet.that is (7+5)  12 feet.

We have to find the area of the doghouse which is in the shape of right trapezoid .

\text{Area of trapezoid}=\frac{1}{2}\times (\text{sum of parallel sides})\times {\text{(Height)}}

that is,

\text{Area of trapezoid}=\frac{1}{2}\times (AB+DC)\times (AD)

Substitute the values, we get,

\text{Area of trapezoid}=\frac{1}{2}\times (7+12)\times 7

\Rightarrow \text{Area of trapezoid}=\frac{1}{2}\times 19\times 7

\Rightarrow \text{Area of trapezoid}=\frac{1}{2}\times 133

\Rightarrow \text{Area of trapezoid}=66.5

Hence, Area of of the doghouse which is in the shape of right trapezoid is 66.5 square feet.

A pair of equations is shown below:
Archy [21]

Slope Intercept Form - y = mx + b

First you need the slope or m which in the first equation is 6 and in the second is 5

Next the y-intercept or b which in the first equation is -4 and in the second is -3

Here is an image of both equation plotted on a graph where the first equation is purple and the second is green

Hope this helps, if you need anything else i will edit it in :)

edit: The to lines intercept at the point (1,2)

Sorry, i wasn't completely sure what you needed i haven't done this in a while. If you still need more, I'll try to help.

Divide 310AED among A B C in the ratio 2:3:5
Shkiper50 [21]

Answer:A=62AED B=93 C=155

Step-by-step explanation:

You add all of the numbers to split between (2,3,5) you get 10

then you divided 310 by 10 which is 31

then you times 2 by 31=62 (a)

3x31=93 (b)

5x31=155 (c)
