Student Council Representatives are elected every year by the students through a democratic voting process. What makes them effective is their participation in school decision-making, managing student representation in all levels, contribution of ideas to the school, completion of plan and achieving it. What makes them ineffective is that they don’t dedicate time and effort to contribute something for the good for the school and the students.

<h2>Effectiveness of Student Council: </h2>

Student council, sometimes also called as student union or student body, is effectively involved in encouraging fellow students to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Also this body ensures that all student related affairs are entertained properly.

<h2>In-effectiveness of Student Council:</h2>

Students associated in the council, sometimes neglect the activities of council completely, as they are being burdened by the course/class work. In order to make every fellow student happy, you might sometimes upset your own self and in some scenarios your decisions might upset your fellows, as a result to this, the overall council performance hinders.

Explanation:

The MOST plausible explanation for this phenomenon is that, in the latter case, <em>the echo faded before being stored in short-term memory</em>. Memory is the function that allows human beings to store experiences and to recall them when they are needed. Memory has three stages: sensory memory, short-term memory, and long-term memory. Sensory memory stores memories less than a second after the stimulus has stopped. In this experiment as the instructions came more than three seconds after the stimulus had stopped the students could not store it in short-term memory.
