Various studies say that sleep limitation raises a signal that may enhance the hedonistic aspect of food consumption, the desire, and fulfillment gained from eating.

"Sleep limitation seems to increase the endocannabinoid system, which is targeted by the active element of marijuana, to enhance the desire for food intake,". Sleep deprivation decreases movement in appetite evaluation regions inside the human frontal cortex and insular cortex during food choices. This is combined with an inverse addition of activity within the amygdala. Further, this bi-directional shift in the form of brain activity is connected with a significant increment in the desire for weight-gain, by preferring high-calorie foods which are followed by sleep deprivation.

An important part of a well-written behavior plan is setting forth a protocol for what to do if the unwanted behavior occurs. Th
scoundrel [369]

Answer:

Exigency plan.

Explanation:

A Behavioral plan is described as the plan that describes the path or route to be followed(that involves a list of actions) in order to prevent a challenging or problematic behavior and reinforce a positive or rewarding behavior in its place.

As per the question, 'one of the significant elements of a well-drafted behavior plan sets forth a protocol for the actions to be done when an unwanted or challenging behavior is experienced or faced by the patient' could be described as all the given options except for 'exigency plan' as it is associated with the 'presence of mind to take actions required in emergency situations'. Here the pre-determined actions(instead of prompt actions that occur naturally) are suggested to avoid the unwanted behavior. Thus, <u>'exigency plan'</u> is the answer.

Identify three events that led to the civil war. Explain how each was an important cause of the war
Iteru [2.4K]

Answer:

While the American Civil War (1861—1865) was devastating for the United States in terms of human loss of life, it was also the event that caused the American states to finally become united. A variety of events prompted the war, not just the underlying issues of slavery and states rights. From the end of the Mexican War to the election of Abraham Lincoln, the war’s roots were numerous and diverse.

The Fugitive Slave Act was passed as part of the Compromise of 1850. This act forced any federal official who did not arrest a runaway slave to pay a fine. This was the most controversial part of the Compromise of 1850 and caused many abolitionists to increase their efforts against slavery. This act also prompted more activity along the Underground Railroad as fleeing slaves made their way to Canada.

In 1854, the Kansas-Nebraska Act was passed, allowing the Kansas and Nebraska territories to decide for themselves using popular sovereignty whether they wanted to be free or slave. By 1856, Kansas had become a hotbed of violence as pro- and anti-slavery forces fought over the state's future to the point where it was nicknamed "Bleeding Kansas." The widely reported violent events were a small taste of the violence to come with the Civil War.

The fact that Jeremy believes that in the U.S., the power is spread out amongst the masses and that no one group dominates another and this is good for the people and society because it gives them a political voice, means that Jeremy's views are in line with the Symbolic Interactionist View of Political & Economic Systems.
