To write this expression first define each of the variables.

D = the initial number of baseball cards
13 more can be written mathematically as +13.

Thus the expression for the total number of baseball cards would be

D + 13.

Just factor 48  factors. It has many.
2 * 2 * 12
3 * 2 *  8
4 * 4 * 3
1 * 2 * 24

And the factors given above can have the height and the smallest of the other factors interchanged.

So 3 * 8 * 2 is not the same thing as 3 * 2 * 8 although your teacher may argue that they are the same. All you have to do is put a different face on the bottom to make the height and width different.

Other teachers would say they were different. I have given you what you requested, so I think you are done with this question.

The line is parallel to the bisector of the 1st and 3rd quadrants

y=x-2

Since we're considering the area below the graph (not included), the inequality is

y

A triangle with one obtuse angle must also have two acute angles.a. trueb. false
stiks02 [169]
(a) True

Because the sum of the angles in a triangle is 180°

Obtuse angle = angle greater than 90°.

180° - Obtuse angle = less than 90°

So there cannot be another obtuse angles, therefore both the other angles will be acute.
