Bonjour

the informal "you" is the second person singular = tu

<em>subject pronouns in French</em>

je       <em> (I)</em>

tu       <em>(informal you)</em>

il        <em>(he)</em>

elle   <em>(she)</em>

on      <em>(can be translated by "one", "we", "they"....)</em>

we<em>     (nous)</em>

you    <em>(plural vous OR formal  vous)</em>

they     <em>(ils)</em>

-

<u>The informal word for "your"</u> is "ton" <em>OR</em> "ta" <em>OR</em> "tes" as the possessive adjectives agree in gender and number with the possessed noun not as in English to who possesses

ton père  un père = ton + masc. sing. noun  ==> <em>your father</em>

ta mère    une mère = ta + fem. sing. noun   ==> <em>your mother</em>

tes enfants des enfants = tes + plural nouns ==> <em>your children</em>

<em>-</em>

hope this helps ☺☺☺

L accord du participe passé des verbes pronominaux. Reminder : in compound tenses ( like the passé compose ) the past participle must agree with the subject if etre is used as an auxiliary.

I hope it helps .

gavmur [86]

What's the question then?

Answer:

Je n'ai pas d'espoir de sortir par moi-même de la solitude. La pierre n'a pas d'espoir d'être autre chose que pierre, mais en collaborant, elle s'assemble et devient temple.

*In English*

I have no hope of going out alone. The stone has no hope of being anything but stone, but by collaborating, it assembles and becomes a temple
