You work for a landscape company that just got a contract to re-mulch a park. The area that needs mulching is 30 feet by 60 feet

. They want a 3 inch layer of much on the area. The company has bags of mulch that cover 2 cubic yards . How many bags of mulch will they need?
A) 3 bags B) 9 bags C) 13 bags D) 17 bags

The answer would be B. 9 bags.

you would have to convert feet to yards and inches to yards, then multiply the area times the layer. Then divide by 2 to get about 8.333, which is about 9 bags needed.
