Math is a difficult subject for many students. Often, algebra is the worse, with “what do you mean solve for X? What is X”?! Mat

h basics are in many daily tasks, such as money, time, weight, and distance. What is the one challenging math topic for you (i.e. fractions, division, etc.)? Identify an Internet site for your math topic. It can be a learning site, a video, anything that helps teach the challenged topic. Review the site and provide a brief description, why you like it, and would you recommend it to other students. Check out the other student’s topics and sites.

eimsori [14]

The mean of sample x is 5.83

The standard deviation is 5.63

What is standard deviation?

A standard deviation (or σ) is a measure of how dispersed the data is in relation to the mean. Low standard deviation means data are clustered around the mean, and high standard deviation indicates data are more spread out.

Given:

Frequency: 2 2 4 13 13 1

If x is the pair of sneakers owned of the frequency,

mean = 2+2+4+13+13+1/5

= 35/6

= 5.83

The standard deviation is equal to 5.63.

Someone please help me on this.
Naddik [55]

Answer:

36n^2+12n+1

Step-by-step explanation:

Foil the equation!

1. You see that is to the second power so it means this (6n+1)*(6n+1)

2. Then you use the Foil method. First, Outside, Inside, and Last.

3. Combined like terms

4. Answer!

A tip you can use to avoid Foil is this mental math trick: (Keep in mind this only works if the polynomial is being squared.)

1. Multiply the first number by itself = 6n *6n = 36n^2

2. Add the first number by itself = 6n+6n = 12n

3. Multiply the last number by itself = 1*1 =1

4. Combined to form your answer = 36n^2+12n+1

NOTE: This is the same thing as a foil but it uses mental math so it takes less time!
