One way migration has affected the character of place in many large cities in Europe includes the —
Sauron [17]

Answer:

establishment of a variety of restaurants.

Explanation:

Migration refers to the movement of a group of people from one geographical region (location) to another geographical destination in search of better living conditions, work or social amenities.

Migration selectivity can be defined as the likelihood or tendency that a subset (part) of a group of people are going to move (migrate) out of a particular geographical location or area.

Some of the factors that influence migration selectivity are income level, age, education, gender etc.

Hence, one way migration has affected the character of place in many large cities in Europe such as Manchester, Berlin, Paris, Rome, Stuttgart, Kyiv, etc. includes the establishment of a variety of restaurants. For example, the establishment of KFC, McDonalds, Mr Biggs were influenced by the migration of people across European cities and as such served as tourist attraction centers, thus, positively affecting the character of these places.

How do the citizens influence a nation?
Fudgin [204]

Answer:

There are many ways and many levels of how people influence nations.

Use of Social Media is the most common these days. A lot of people do believe everything they are told and see on Social Media. Media and entertainment industry is another powerful tool of influencing societies. A lot of movies and TV series are funded by people who believe a script matches an ideology that could be helpful in influencing the watchers.

Another way to influence which is one of the oldest is through history. History is always written by the powerful. Imagine having a good ruler who lost everything, while defending their people, trying to tell their story and getting people to write it (ofcourse in this case the good ruler was left alive).

Moreover, what you studied at school (or what everyone studied) has a major influence on your brain and the ability to perceive situations. People who have studied text books of a certain curriculum think and behave differently from others who have studied some other curriculum.

Music, especially the lyrics also have a great potential to influence large masses.

Last but not the least and this one affects more than a single nation or a society - the concept of God and Religion. The best tool to influence and mass control people has always been religion.

The production of a certain fertilizer emits a gas that keeps away mosquitoes and other insects from the surrounding community.
Gemiola [76]

Answer: Positive externality

Explanation: Positive externality is the concept in which the service produced and the consumption of that service will provide benefit a third party who is not a part of the process.

While producing fertilizer , it is providing a unintentional benefit to the  community surrounding(third party) by keeping the insects away through exerting gases so that they don't cause insect bites or other problem.

Other options are incorrect because negative externalities are negative consequences face by the third party in a process. Comparative externality is related with comparison and pecuniary externality is increment or decrement in market price of service by action of economic actor .
