•Passionate- if a coach is passionate about what he does he will put forth his best effort
•Knowledge- to be an effective coach he/she must know the game
•Dedicated- a good coach must be dedicated to his or her team and be willing to make sacrifices
•Non-biased- a good coach must be non-biased and coach his or her players based on performance and not play someone bc a parent requested that their child get more playtime
•Available- a good coach must be available to help his or her players not only during practice, but outside of practice as well
