Well, if we're looking for the value of "x" then follow these following steps!

Our first step: 9(x) - [-7] = ?
 The "?" = 0

Our second step 2: Solve this one → 9(x) = ?
Remember that I said "?" equals to 0

Our  third step: we have to divide by the number "9" on each of your sides

Our fifth step/your answer is:  x = 0

Oh and if you wanted to find out how many solution that it has, it would be One Solution

There's not that much steps to this solution

<span>9x-7=-7
You would add 7 to both sides because you want to get to the point were your variable is alone. 9x = 0 Then you would dicide each side by 9 because after doing this your variable would be alone. x = 0 would be your final answer.

Answer:

d) (9*3/4)+y

Step-by-step explanation:

b) 9+y*(3/4)

This expression is not equivalent, as the original expression, y+9*\frac{3}{4} , has 9 multiplied to \frac{3}{4} instead of y. You can interchange values like this when it comes to addition, but not multiplication.

c) (y+9)(3/4)

This expression is also not equivalent. After opening up the parentheses, it would again result in y being multiplied to \frac{3}{4}.

(y+9)(3/4)\\= y(3/4)+9(3/4)

d) (9*3/4)+y

This expression is equivalent, as 9 and \frac{3}{4} are still being multiplied together and y is added to the product. We can actually rearrange this to look like the original expression:

(9*3/4)+y\\=y+(9*3/4)\\=y+(9*\frac{3}{4} )\\=y+9*\frac{3}{4}

I hope this helps!

Write an equation in slope intercept form
Galina-37 [17]
It would be C. A perpendicular slope means it has the opposite reciprocal slope, so 1/2 would turn into -2. Since there's only one option with -2 as a slope, C must be right.

the westside bakery uses 440 pounds of sugar to make 1,000 cakes each cake contain the same amount of sugar how many pounds of s
rosijanka [135]
First of all, I like the name "westside" for a bakery. :)

OK, so, you can make a proportion for this problem.

440 lbs.= 1000 cakes.
? unknown =  1 cake.
 440 divided by 1000 = 0.44 pounds
