Answer: suspend judgement

Explanation:

If we can neither confirm nor disconfirm a claim through independent investigation, our healthy sense of skepticism tells us that we would be wise to suspend judgement.

The sense of being sceptical about something or the claims and principles on which they are established...it is also about the attitude of doubt or when a thing is not clear that is they are not reliable

What evidence would offer proof for the different theories about the origins of the Indo-Aryans?
tensa zangetsu [6.8K]

Answer:

Explanation:

Historians have taken different views on the origins of the Indo-Aryans. In the past, many historians accepted the Aryan invasion theory, but many historians today reject this idea. This theory held that the Indo- Aryans were nomadic warriors who crossed the mountains into India. They used horse-drawn chariots and iron weapons to defeat the local people.

Others have argued that the Aryans were India’s original inhabitants.

They say that if the Indo-Aryans came from a region outside of India,

the Vedas would refer to it. The Vedas, however, do not make any

mention of such a place.

More recently, scholars suggest a third theory, which suggests Indo-

Aryans were originally from what is now Afghanistan and Central Asia.

Over many centuries, they migrated into India with their livestock,

mixed with local people, and adopted local beliefs. Local people

adopted the Indo-Aryan language. Over time, people across a large

part of the Indian subcontinent came to see themselves as Indo-Aryans.

So the evidence for the first theory is:  This theory held that the Indo- Aryans were nomadic warriors who crossed the mountains into India. They used horse-drawn chariots and iron weapons to defeat the local people.

second theory: They say that if the Indo-Aryans came from a region outside of India, the Vedas would refer to it. The Vedas, however, do not make any

mention of such a place.

Third theory: Over many centuries, they migrated into India with their livestock, mixed with local people, and adopted local beliefs. Local people

adopted the Indo-Aryan language. Over time, people across a large

part of the Indian subcontinent came to see themselves as Indo-Aryans.

Which of the following statements is correct? Large budget deficits may reduce private investment, thereby stifling economic gro
Scrat [10]

Answer:

Large budget deficits may reduce private investment, thereby stifling economic growth.

Explanation:

Crowding out is a term that describes the situation that occurs when the increase in involvement of the government in a particular sector of the market economy, has a direct effect on the remaining market, either on the demand or supply side of the market.

Therefore, crowding out effects which can be caused as a result of government financing large budget deficit, thereby, making them to be involved on a particular sector of the economy, will result to government needing more capital, hence encouraging savings, through increased in interest rate, or selling of bonds and treasury bills with attractive returns, which will leads to reduction in private investment spending, such that it affects negatively the increase in inital total investment.

What killed off most the native American in America's
likoan [24]

Disease.

What ended up happening was that Europeans came over on boats and they carried germs with them.

The Europeans were (mostly) immune to those germs as those particular germs had been ravaging Europe for centuries.

But they were new germs for the Native Americans living in the US.

And they spread quickly and killed something like 80% of the Native populations in some areas.
