The Anti-Federalist needed a Bill of Rights. Known as our first ten amendments, the Bill of Rights were thought to secure our rights as citizens. The Anti-Federalists were scared that the nation would turn into a monarchy due to the Constitution, which they didn't really agree with unless there was a Bill of Rights. Anti-federalst such as Patrick Henry, Samuel Adams and Thomas Jefferson fought for a Bill of Rights.
