You are playing touch football with some friends on a rainy day. During a breakaway play, your friend slips in the mud and falls

flat on his back. You are not sure if he struck his head, but he seems winded, disoriented, and has trouble keeping his eyes open. What might be wrong with your friend, and what should you do to treat him?

He could possibly have a concussion so what you would want to do to treat your friend is get him inside, set him on the couch and get him an ice pack. Don't let him fall asleep, if it is a cuncussion he could slip into a coma so try finding something on the tv that'll interest him and make it hard for him to sleep, lastly check for any head or back wounds (like cuts, gashes etc.) and make sure to clean and if necessary stitch the wounds. If it gets to serious call a doctor and take him to the hospital.
