The sum of two irrational numbers is sometimes irrational. Also the sum of 2 irrational numbers in some cases will be irrational but if irrational parts of the numbers have a zero sum (cancel each other out) the sum will be rational. But remember that the product of 2 irrational #''s is sometimes irrational.

Answer:

Sign of product of two rational numbers.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to find how to find the sign of the product of two or more rational numbers.

Let A and B be two rational numbers. Then, a and b can be written in the form \frac{x}{y}, where y cannot be zero.

Then, we can find the sign of product of a and b in the following manner:

Sign of A            Sign of B             Sing of (AB)

                          +                          +                            +

                          +                          -                             -

                          -                           -                             +

                          -                           +                            -

The sign of the product of rational number is similar tio the product of two integers.
