The one that best supports the idea that surface of the moon has changed very little is : C. because the moon has no atmosphere, it is not possible for geologic events to occur on the moon
Because of there is no atmosphere, there will be no process of erosion in the moon

hope this helps

ANSWER: c) Because the moon has no atmosphere, it is not possible for geologic events to occur on the moon.

Atmosphere is responsible for some of the geological changes (like in Earth) since this is an essential part to allow winds and erosion due to water to form. Only with an atmosphere could a surface change, and the moon, sadly, has none of it. Thus, the surface of the moon will always be the same or has changed very little (when rare asteroids or space debris bump into it ie).

A shell of mass m and speed v explodes into two identical fragments. If the shell was moving horizontally (the positive x direct
-Dominant- [34]

Answer:

The velocity of the other fragment immediately following the explosion is v .

Explanation:

Given :

Mass of original shell , m .

Velocity of shell , + v .

Now , the particle explodes into two half parts , i.e  \dfrac{m}{2} .

Since , no eternal force is applied in the particle .

Therefore , its momentum will be conserved .

So , Final momentum = Initial momentum

mv=\dfrac{mv}{2}+\dfrac{mu}{2}\\\\u=v

The velocity of the other fragment immediately following the explosion is v .

A bomb of mass 6kg initially at rest explodes into two fragments of masses 4kg and2kg respectively. If the greater mass moves wi
uysha [10]

Answer:

v = 10 [m/s].

Explanation:

The largest mass is that of 4 [kg], in this way the momentum can be calculated by means of the product of the mass by velocity.

P=m*v\\

where:

P = momentum [kg*m/s]

m = mass = 4 [kg]

v = velocity = 5 [m/s]

Now the momentum:

P=4*5\\P=20[kg*m/s]

This same momentum is equal for the other mass, in this way we can find the velocity.

P=m*v\\20=2*v\\v=10[m/s]

If you start rolling down this hill, your potential energy will be converted to kinetic energy. At the bottom of the hill ypu KE
Serjik [45]

Answer:

v=\sqrt{(2x/m)}\  \ m/s

Explanation:

Potential Energy= Kinetic Energy

Let x be the value of Kinetic Energy.

We know that

PE=KE=x\\x=\frac{1}{2}mv^2\\

Make v the subject of the formula to get speed at the bottom of the hill.

v^2=2x/m\\v=\sqrt{2x/m}
