Answer: 1/2 It has a equal chance of landing on either side.

Step-by-step explanation: Just because it landed on black more times than white that doesn't mean it will land on black the next time you flip it

okay lets say im flipping a coin i flip it 100 times it landed on heads 70 times and tails 30 times just because it flipped on heads more times it doesn't mean it will flip on heads again.

The black seem to make up 2/3 of the spinner so if i were to say id go with 66% black and 33% white i hope this is what you wanted to know

The diameter of a circle is 16 meters. What is the angle measure of an arc bounding a sector with an area eight pi square meters
Degger [83]

Answer: 45°

Step-by-step explanation:

Diameter= 16m

Radius= 16/2 = 8m

The area of the circle= πr^2

= π8^2

= 64π square metres.

An area of 8π square metres is also 1/8 of the total area, therefore the arc must be 1/8 of the circumference.

The circumference = 2πr = 16π,

This gives us an arc length of 2π metres.

But since we are looking for the the angle.

In degrees: 360/8 = 45°

Jillian’s school is selling tickets for a play. The tickets cost $10.50 for adults and $3.75 for students. The ticket sales for
-Dominant- [34]

Answer:

168

Step-by-step explanation:

The first equation given is 0.50 a +3.75 b= 2071.50

Where a is number of adult tickets and b is number of student tickets

It is also given that 82 students attended, so we can put "82" in place of "b" and then solve the equation for a:

10.50a+3.75b=2071.50\\10.50a+3.75(82)=2071.50\\10.50a+307.5=2071.50\\10.50a=2071.50-307.5\\10.50a=1764\\a=\frac{1764}{10.50}\\a=168

Hence, 168 adults attended

A hexagonal prism 6 ft tall with a regular base measuring 9 ft on each edge and an apothem of length 7.8 ft. How do I get the la
SIZIF [17.4K]
Given:

Hexagonal Prism dimensions:

Altitude = 6 ft
Regular base;
side = 9 ft
apothem = 7.8 ft

The formula for the lateral surface area of a prism is

LA = P * h

where
LA is the lateral surface area
P is the perimeter of the base
h is the height of the prism

LA = (9 ft * 6 sides) * 6 ft
LA = 324 ft^2

The formula for total surface area is

TA = (P * h) + 2(Ab)

where
TA is the total surface area
Ab = Area of the base

Ab = a * P / 2
Ab = 7.8 ft * (9ft * 6) / 2
Ab = 210.6 ft^2

TA = 324 + 2(210.6)
TA = 745.2 ft^2
