Add the on-campus and off-campus together.

20+4= 24

4/24 live off campus.

Simplify.

2/12

1/6- that is the probability of drawing a person off-campus.

I hope this helped you!

Firsrt, find the total number of people that you can draw overall. To do this, add the number of people on campus and the number of people off campus to get 24 people overall. This will be your denominator. Then, the numerator is the number of the group of people that the question is asking for. In this case, it would be the 4 people off campus. Finally, put in the values to get that the probability is
\frac{4}{24}

Answer:

a: 3

b. 6973568802

Step-by-step explanation:

a₁ = 6 , r = 3 , a₂₀ =?

Result:

a₂₀ = 6973568802

Explanation:

To find a₂₀ we use the formula

aₙ = a₁ · r ^ⁿ⁻¹

In this example we have a₁ = 6 , r = 3 , n = 20. After substituting these values to above

formula, we obtain:

aₙ = a₁ · r ^ⁿ⁻¹

a₂₀ = 6 · 3 ^²⁰⁻¹

a₂₀ = 6 · 1162261467

a₂₀ = 6973568802

3 - x/2 = 6 (Solve each equation) Check your answer
Yanka [14]
Answer to question
3-x/2=6
Subtract 3 from both sides
-x/2=3
Multiply 3 by -2
Final Answer: x=-6

Work check
3-x/2=6
Substitute -6 for x since you solved for x in the last equation
3-(-6)/2
Convert 3-(-6/2) to 3+6/2
3+6/2
Divide 6 by 2
3+3
Add
Final Answer: 6 (This 6 is the same 6 we used to solve for x in the first equation).
