The Following is a Rough Template for your Essay:

Explanation:

Event 1: The Ratification of the Constituion

- Establishes the fundamental basis for the workings of the US government to the present day

- Clearly establishes the need for and desire to establish and maintain a powerful executive and legislature, limits the powers of the states to an extent

- Provides the basis for the minting of national currency (compared to the state and bank currency used previously), and later allows for national fiat currency.

Event 3: The Civil War

What are some possible consequences of the rapid settlement of Oregon?
nikdorinn [45]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

If the question refers to the Westward Expansion from 1807 to 1912, that made thousands of pioneers to cross the Oregon Trail, then some possible consequences of the rapid settlement of Oregon would be the occupation of lands to be used as farms and get people new opportunities to make a decent living growing crops. The rapid settlement was notorious by 1840. Oregon lands "promised" fertile soil. That is why people from the Mississippi Valley decide to move to Oregon. Mane Eastern farmers decided to better move to Oregon instead than New Mexico or California, thinking that the land in Oregon was more fertile to farmland. People had to cross the above mentioned Oregon Trail, knowing that the trip would not be easy.

Which action did reformer miguel Trujillo take to expand civil rights
avanturin [10]

Answer:

When Miguel Trujillo, from Isleta Pueblo and a veteran of the Marine Corps during World War II, went to register to vote, he was told by the county registrar, Eloy Garley, that he could not register since he was an Indian living on a reservation.Trujillo was incensed. He brought suit against the county registrar and won. (Trujillo v. Garley) Felix Cohen, who had written the definitive book on Indian law, the Handbook of Federal Indian Law, was Trujillo’s attorney. Finally, in 1948, Indians in New Mexico could vote for the first time. Trujillo and Cohen became friends and worked on other issues of civil rights in New Mexico and in the South. The case also debunked the myth that Indians did not pay taxes. The only taxes Indians did not pay, the court said, was taxes on the land the government held in trust for them. They had to pay sales taxes, income taxes, and all other taxes.
