You plot the points and use the distance formula to find the length of the lines between the points. Distance formula: d=\sqrt{(}x_{2} -x_{1} )^2 + (}y_{2} -y_{1} )^2\\

Then use the pythagorean theorem with the sides, (C^2=A^2+B^2, c=longest side) if the equation works then it is a right triangle.

Find the sum of even numbers from 34 to 234 inclusive
valentinak56 [21]
We have

AP = 34,36,38......,234

a, (first term) = 34

n ( total terms ) =?

d ( common difference ) = 2

so, a +(n-1)d =an

34+(n-1)*2 = 234

(n-1)2 = 234-34

n-1 = 200/2

n = 100+1

n =101

Now sum of the even no.

Sn = n/2( 2a+9n-1)d)

       = 101/2 (2*34 +100*2)

        = 101/2 * 268

          =101 *134

         = 13534

When is the sum of two positive decimal numbers an integer?
Pani-rosa [81]

Step-by-step explanation:

Rule: The sum of any integer and its opposite is equal to zero. Summary: Adding two positive integers always yields a positive sum; adding two negative integers always yields a negative sum. To find the sum of a positive and a negative integer, take the absolute value of each integer and then subtract these values.
