Codominance: where both traits are expressed
Incomplete dominance: where both traits aren’t fully expressed and instead make a third phenotype. Ex: white & red make pink.

If two traits cross and the outcome is the presence of both traits together, it is codominance.

Answer: Option A

<u>Explanation:</u>

When a cross is made between alleles of two traits, if both the traits gets expressed in the F1 generation offspring it is called as codominance. In this type of crossing both the traits gets equally expressed in the offspring leading to a different phontype which is different from the parent.

For example, when a cross is made between white and red flower, the formation of pink color flower in f1 generation explains that it is due to codominance.

5. Predict the possible genotypes and
ZanzabumX [31]

Answer:

Predict the possible genotypes and  phenotypes percentages for the

offspring produced from the cross  below if albinism is recessive in

humans.  Albino male x Heterozygous female

aa X Aa = Aa, aa, Aa, aa

Explanation:

From the crossing above, it is right to say that albinism and non-albinism occur in a 50-50 ratio i.e 50% each. The genotype shows that there is 50% homozygous recessive albinism while there is also 50% heterozygous non-albinism. The phenotype reflects that there no dominance of albinism or non-albinism, they both share equal phenotypic characteristics

Substarte<br>22. What is the effect of excess heat or temperature on an enzyme?
ioda

Answer:

An enzyme is a protein, and proteins need certain temperatures to function optimally, or even function. Temperature may unfold the protein and may stop its functioning, or it may fold the protein into the correct formation to function. But by the way your question asks, EXCESS heat would denature the enzyme and cease function.
