No filter is a love story that involves a sort of Romeo and Juliette kind of relationship as well as it talks about the new youth, social media addiction and depression. It also enters the theme of social bullying. It is fair to say that is nails it when it comes to talk about the difficulties and problems of the young adults and adolescents from nowadays. It is a very interesting book about people who might even forget that there is a world outside their bubbles as well.

No filter is a story about how two counselors with opposite tastes become good friends and the main idea is that “Opposites attract”. The saying “opposites attract” really plays a part in the story, Jordyn is more of a active and outdoors person and Mariah is more of a sit inside and read a book. This really shows when Mariah references a harry potter book and Jordyn doesn't get it. So by the end of the story they become really good friends and hope to see eachother again. Showing that people even with the most disagreeable hobbies or opinions can be friends.

However, they both have apologized for their behavior. But, Mary is unable to forget the incorrect use of words by John for her. Here, they both are reflecting the cons of interpersonal communication which can also be thought of like a pro as this kind of conversation focuses on the follies and mistakes of each other and also enforcing the individuals to develop their character traits by altering their behavior. As deep down, Mary admits herself being a slob and thus, shows anger as she is not ready to accept her folly.
