Use PEMDAS

P Parentheses first

E Exponents (ie Powers and Square Roots, etc.)

MD Multiplication and Division (left-to-right)

AS Addition and Subtraction (left-to-right)

\dfrac{4\cdot4-3\cdot1-3\cdot3}{0-(-2)\cdot(-2)}=\dfrac{16-3-9}{-4}=\dfrac{4}{-4}=-1

(4•4-3•1-3•3)\[0-(-2)•(-2)]

complete the parenthesis first

(4•4-3•1-3•3)

complete the multiply and divided first from left to right

16 -3-9 =

then complete the subtraction

13-9 =4

now

[0-(-2)•(-2)]

complete the parenthesis first

do the multiplication

-2*-2

4

now subtract

0-4=-4

so we have

-4/4

What is the measure of NRS?
never [62]

Answer:

<h3>C. 113°</h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

(7x - 1) + 79° = 21x + 8

• An exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of its two interior opposite angles.

(7x - 1) +79 = 21x + 8 \\ 7x - 1 + 79 = 21x + 8 \\ 7x + 78 = 21x + 8 \\ 78 - 8 = 21x - 7x \\ 70 = 14x \\ \frac{70}{14} = x \\ 5 = x \\

NRS = 21x + 8

21x + 8 \\ 21(5) + 8 \\ 105 + 8 \\  {113}^{o}

The vertices of triangle PQR are P(10,-6), Q(6,2), &amp; R(4,-1). Describe a translation that places the image of the triangle e
Gnoma [55]

Answer:

Translate 7 units up and then translate 11 units to the left.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have the triangle PQR having co-ordinates (10,6), (6,2) and (4,-1).

It is required to translate ΔPQR so that the resulting image is completely inside the 2nd quadrant.

So, for that we will apply the following sequence of translations:

1. Translate 7 units up.

This will give us the figure in the 1st quadrant having co-ordinates (10,1), (6,9) and (4,6).

2. Translate 11 units to the left

We will get the final triangle P'Q'R' with the co-ordinates P'(-1,1), Q'(-5,9) and R'(-7,6) as shown below.
