Answer:

146.41

Step-by-step explanation:

third order determinant = determinant of 3×3 matrix A

given ∣A∣=11

det (cofactor matrix of A) =set (transpare of cofactor amtrix of A) (transpare does not change the det)

=det(adjacent of A)

{det (cofactor matrix of A)}  ^2  = {det (adjacent of A)} ^2

(Using for an n×n det (cofactor matrix of A)=det (A)^n−1 )

we get

det (cofactor matrix of A)^2  = {det(A)  ^3−1 }^2

=(11)^2×2  = 11^4

 =146.41

Ifn || m, find the value of x and the value of y.
Marat540 [252]

Answer: Option C

y=5, x=10

Step-by-step explanation:

If the lines m and n are parallel then the large triangle and the small triangle are similar triangles, because they have equal angles.

By definition for similar triangles it is satisfied that if they have sides of length a, b, c and a', b',  c'  then:

\frac{a}{a'}=\frac{b}{b'} =\frac{c}{c'}

In this case

a = 12\\a' = 4\\c = 15\\c' = y

So:

\frac{12}{4}=\frac{15}{y}

Now solve the equation for the variable y

3=\frac{15}{y}

y=\frac{15}{3}

y=5

We know that

x+y=15 and  y=5

Then

x+5=15

x=10

Finally the answer is:

y=5, x=10

2. 1/5 ≤ 2/8

3. 9/10 ≥ 6/8

4. I can't see it's out of the pic

5. 7/8 ≥ 5/10

6. 2/5 ≥ 2/6

7. 1/3 ≤ 3/8

8. I can't see it's out of the pic.

9. 8/10 ≥ 3/4

10. 3/8 ≤ 11/12

11. 2/3 ≤ 10/12

12. Can't see :(

13. 3/8 ≤ 7/8

14. 2/4 = 4/8

15. 6/8 ≥ 8/12

16. Can't see

Step-by-step explanation: All you have to do is divide the numerator by the denominator to make it into a decimal. For instance....

5/6 = approximately 0.83

I hope this helps you! It took forever....

Here is a circle, centre O, and the tangent to the circle at the point (-3, 4) on the circle. У P (-3, 4) X -5 O Oา Find an equa
sattari [20]

Answer:

y=\frac{3}{4}x+\frac{25}{4}

Step-by-step explanation:

when a line is tangent to a circle, it is perpendicular to the line from the center of the circle to the intersection of the line and the circle. so first we are going to find the slope of the line in the circle.

to find the slope use the formula \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

\frac{4-0}{-3-0}=\frac{4}{-3}=-\frac{4}{3} so the slope is -4/3

the slope of the line perpendicular to this is the opposite reciprocal: 3/4 so now we have y= 3/4 x +b, to find b plug in the point (-3,4) to get 4=-9/4 +b, b=25/4 the equation is y=3/4 x +25/4
