Answer:

A. $ 24 7/8

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN: A stock starts the day at $27 3/8 per share.

             Share drops $2 1/2 during the day.

To Find : Closing value

Solution : first we need to find how many 1/8 are there in 1/2

So, \frac{\frac{1}{2} }{\frac{1}{8} } =4

when share drops by $2 then  share will be :

$27 - $2 =$25

and \frac{3}{8} - 4(\frac{1}{8})

⇒\frac{3}{8} - \frac{4}{8}

⇒\frac{-1}{8}

So, 25-\frac{1}{8}

⇒24\frac{7}{8}

So, its closing value is 24\frac{7}{8}.

#1 This isn't mathematics its Science

#2 I would personally say false because we can repeat a song there fore creating the same movement - vibration.  Heat is also something that could be the same again.  Like setting the thermostat in a home, apartment, or work place

#3 Don't hold me to #2 because I can see both sides being argued #1 is definitely right lol!

What is the name of the intersection point? Explain.
MariettaO [177]
<h3>Answer: Midpoint</h3>

Explanation:

The drawings you made are constructions of the perpendicular bisector. The "perpendicular" refers to the fact the second line meets the first line at a right angle (aka 90 degree angle). The "bisector" portion indicates the segment has been bisected, which is mathematical way of saying "cut in half".

The key here is the "bisector" portion. Because we've cut a segment like AB in half, this means segment AC and CB are the same length. The point C is the midpoint of AB. Point C is formed by intersecting the perpendicular bisector and the original segment. I'm referring to drawing (a), but the same idea applies to drawing (b) as well. I recommend using another letter than C for the second drawing.

Need to know how to set up problem #10
Ksivusya [100]
To find FDH and FDE you first need to solve GDH.

Here’s how to set up GDH.

8x-1=6x+15

Subtract 6x from both sides so that it cancels out.

2x-1=15

Add 1 to both sides so that it cancels out.

2x=16

Divide by 2z

x=8

Plug in.

GDH: 8(8)-1+6(8)+15=78

FDH: 122+78= 200

FDE: 122+15=137
