Answer:

ad hoc hypotheses

Explanation:

This statement could be used for any hypothesis in which the results (different ideas) do not agree with their hypothesis. In other words, there were no verifiable tests that could make valid the accepted hypothesis.

Thus, the researcher only accepted the hypothesis without a sound basis for doing so.

Anna often finds that she becomes drowsy in the afternoons. The warmer her classroom is, the harder she finds it to stay awake.
Butoxors [25]

Her metabolism reduces so as to reduce the amount of heat the body is producing. This reduces the risk of overheating/hyperthermia. During metabolism, approximately 60% of the energy produced is released as heat. This coupled with the high temperatures in the classroom increases her core temperatures. Due to the reduced metabolism, Anna feels sleepy since the body processes become slow in a homeostatic feedback response.

Help s s s s ss s ss s
soldi70 [24.7K]

Answer:

A

Explanation:

I believe the answer is A. One is polar and One is non polar. H20 is the polar one. Polar beans there is a charge to it and the bonds are unevenly distributed. Since the hygrogen molecules are negatively charged, they make it polar. This is why water can mix with salt and stuff. O2 is non polar because the bonds are equal. There is a even distribution of electrons between the two oxygens so it has an even balance. This causes it to be non-polar.

That is why I think it is A

How is phylogeny related to classification?
damaskus [11]

Answer:

Most modern systems of classification are based on evolutionary relationships among organisms – that is, on the organisms' phylogeny. Classification systems based on phylogeny organize species or other groups in ways that reflect our understanding of how they evolved from their common ancestors.
