I don’t know if this is right but for
Y=4x+7 your m would be 4/1 and where you begin would be 7
2x-5y=10: you would take 10 and divide it by the two numbers in front (10 divided by 2= 5) (10 divided by -5=-2)
For 3x+4y=16 you would do the same you did for the last equation (16 divided by 3= 5.3) (16 divided by 4=4

What is the mode of the following numbers? 1,2, 10, 6, 4, 4, 6, 3, 1, 4
marysya [2.9K]

Answer:

The mode of the data set is 4.

Step-by-step explanation:

Hey there!
The <u>mode</u> of a data set is the most commonly occurring data value in that set.

To begin, we need to organize the data set in <u>increasing order</u>:

1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 4, 6, 6, 10

Then, we can tally the <u>frequency</u> of each data value occurring in the data set:

1 - II

2 - I

3 - I

4 - III

6 - II

10 - I

We can see that there are three occurrences for the data value 4 — which is the most frequent occurrence — so 4 is our answer.

Given

See attachment for dot plot

Required

The center of data

This implies that, we calculate the median

From the attached plot,

n = 13 --- number of observation

So, the median is:

Median = \frac{n + 1}{2}

Median = \frac{13 + 1}{2}

Median = \frac{14}{2}

Median = 7th

The median is at the 7th position

At the  7th position, is 13

Hence:

Median = 13

Rashid [163]
I'd do 9x4=36 because the 9 is from your money and the 4 is from your books. Now since you want to find out how much 4 books cost you just multiply that by 9
