Yes they are similar because one they're both 90 degree angles, and two if you divide 12÷8 it'll equal 1.5 Same thing with the other side. If you divide 36÷24 it'll equal 1.5 and this shows proof of similarity since its like half the sides, but they both have the same angles. (Sides doesn't matter, its the angles)
