Given:

The expression 6m+18

To Find:

The full factorisation of the expression.

Solution:

6(m+3) is the full factorisation of the given expression.

Calculation:

Factorisation is the process of "taking out" the common factor from an expression or "splitting up" a given expression into simpler, factor expressions.

To fully factorise any expression, we must write it as a product of expressions that are fully simplified. In other words, there are no other common factors that can be found between the expressions.

In the case of the given expression

6m+18

we can immediately see upon inspection that a common factor between the two terms 6m and 18 is 6.

So, we "take out" 6 from the expression and write it as follows

6(m+3)

We can see that the simplified expressions 6 and m+3 do not have any common factor any more.

So, we can say this is the full factorisation.

13_,644 130,000 this # was rounded to nearest ten thousand list the possible digits that could go in the thousands place to make
Nady [450]

We have two rules in case of rounding off digits,

Rule 1:

If the number you are rounding is followed by 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9, round the number up. Example: 38 rounded to the nearest ten is 40.

Rule 2:

If the number you are rounding is followed by 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4, round the number down.

We are given the number 13_,644 which rounds off to 130,000.

Now as we can see the number is rounded down, so we can apply rule number 2 here.

If we place the digit 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4 then the number will round off to 130,000.

Answer: The possible digits that can go in thousands place are 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4.

given that line L1 has a slope of m1 = -5/2. Determine the slipe of line L2 if lines L1 and L2 is perpendicular
Valentin [98]
Lines that are pendicular has slopes that multiply to -1

if m1=-5/2, then m2 times m1=-1
-5/2 times ?=-1
times both sides by -2/5
?=2/5

m2=2/5

the slope of line 2 is 2/5
