It is a real number.

A real number is a combination of rational (usually negative) and irrational numbers.

A natural number is a positive integer.

But since -145 is a negative number it can't be a natural number. Making it a real number.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Use power reduction formula to rewrite the equation in terms of cosine: cos^2x sin^4 x
Mashutka [201]
Cos^2(x) sin^4(x) = 1/2(1 + cos(2x)) * (1/2(1 - cos(2x))^2 = 1/2(1 + cos(2x)) * 1/4(1 - 2cos(2x) + cos^2(2x)) = 1/8(1 + cos(2x))(1 - 2cos(2x) + 1/2 + 1/2cos(4x)) = 1/16(1 + cos(2x))(3 - 2cos(2x) + cos(4x)) = 1/16(3 - 2cos(2x) + cos(4x) + 3cos(2x) - 2cos^2(2x) + cos(2x)cos(4x)) = 1/16(3 + cos(2x) + cos(4x) - (1 + cos(4x)) + 1/2cos(6x) + 1/2cos(2x)) = 1/32(4 + 3cos(2x) + cos(6x))

When a figure is translated on a coordinate grid, what conclusion can you draw from the pre-image and image?
inysia [295]
To my personal way of thinking, 'translate' is just a fancy word for 'move'.
When a figure is translated on a coordinate grid, each point on the pre-
image moves to some other point with different coordinates, but the
move can't change any lengths or angles in the figure.  After the move,
the new image is congruent to the pre-image, and in the same position.
