How does improving the status of women influence the fertility rate?
gtnhenbr [62]

Educating a woman and by making them aware about the health care can lower the rate of infertility.

Explanation:

The status and role of women are closely associated with the fertility rate throughout the world.  The need of universal education and equality for women would be helpful in lowering the rate of infertility. There is a typical tradition about thinking a woman as mere bearer of child and household worker.

This led to the less care of girls from an early age at several under developed or less developed countries, making them away from education and early marriage. This further led to the unplanned family and infertility. However, educating women can make them aware about themselves and their health to bear less child and less chances of infertility among them.

IRISSAK [1]

Answer:

See explanation

Explanation:

There are three main aspects of photosynthesis

(i) Absorption of light energy by chlorophyll.

(ii)Photolysis of water

(iii) combination of water and CO2 to form carbohydrates.

The second and the  third aspects of photosynthesis are controlled by the availability of water. Plants absorb water from the soil through their root hairs and it moves up to the leaves by capillary action.

Hence, if there is no rain (drought), the soil will lack water and so does the plant thereby hindering the uptake of water for the second and third stages of photosynthesis.

the Arizona poppy,  lie dormant during drought only to germinate, grow, flower, and yield seeds a few weeks after the rains return.
