Answer:

The correct answer is option c.

Explanation:

The sympathetic nervous system is the component of the autonomic nervous system that also comprises the parasympathetic nervous system. The prime function of the sympathetic nervous system is to stimulate the flight or fight response, and it functions via an array of inter associated neurons.

The sympathetic neurons of the spinal cord interact with the peripheral nervous system through an array of sympathetic ganglia. The spinal cord sympathetic neurons combine with the peripheral sympathetic neurons via the chemical synapses. At synapses, the preganglionic sympathetic neurons discharge acetylcholine that combines and stimulates nicotinic acetylcholine receptors on the postganglionic neurons.

When glucose is present, enzyme IIAglc is __________ and LacY is __________. a. phosphorylated; inhibited b. not phosphorylated;
olga_2 [115]

Answer:

Option B, not phosphorylated; inhibited

Explanation:

Glucose 6 acts as a catobolite repressant . A catobolite repressant which is usually a carbon compound inhibits the operon transcription. In the presence of glucose -6, unphosphorylated enzyme IIAGlc  inhibits the transportation system and hence prevents the utilization of lactose. Glucose‐6‐phosphate and other non‐PTS carbon causes inducer exclusion thereby leading to dephosphorylation of enzyme IIAGl without getting transported.

Hence, option B is correct

Which description is an example of codominance
xxMikexx [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

Codominance means that neither allele can mask the expression of the other allele. An example in humans would be the ABO blood group, where alleles A and alleles B are both expressed. So if an individual inherits allele A from their mother and allele B from their father, they have blood type AB.
