3 0

Answer:shirt = $22.5

skirt= $8.75

Step-by-step explanation:

Let shirt be x and skirt be y

4x + 9y = 168.75--------1

3x + 12y = 172.5---------2

Using elimination method

Multiply eqn 1 by 3 and eqn 2 by 4

12x + 27y= 506.25

12x + 48y = 690

Subtracting

-21y = -183.75

y = $8.75

Put in eqn 1

4x + 9×8.75 = 168.75

4x = 168.75 - 78.75

4x = 90

x = $22.5

Find x in the given figures. x = inches. _√_
Delvig [45]

Answer:

X = 4√3

Step-by-step explanation:

Using tangent-secant theorem

So,

X² = (4)(4+8)

X² = (4)(12)

X² = (48)

Taking sqrt on both sides

X = 4√3

At Eagle Rock High School, the probability that a student takes theatre and choir is 0.078. The probability that a student takes
Tatiana [17]

Answer:

the probability that a student takes theater given that the student is taking choir is 0.3

Step-by-step explanation:

The probability that a student takes theater and choir = 0.078

The probability that a student takes choir = 0.26

the probability that a student takes theater given that the student is taking choir ?

We can solve this using conditional probability.

P(B|A) = P(A and B)/P(A)

In our case the conditional probability will be:

P(Theater | Choir) = P(Choir and Theater)/ P(Choir)

Putting the given values

P(Theater | Choir) = (0.078) / 0.26

P(Theater | Choir) = 0.3

So, the probability that a student takes theater given that the student is taking choir is 0.3
