Answer:

Most of the mammals excrete urine in the form of water along with nitrogenous wastes dissolved in it. This removes water from the body and if there is a constant loss of water from the body then there will be dehydration in the body.

In case of birds and reptiles they excrete the waste out of their body in the form of semi solid matter which does not includes water.

This prevents the loss of water from the body and in this way it helps in maintaining the internal homeostasis of the body.

Why do polar compounds dissolve in water?
Dmitrij [34]
Because water is polar and oil is nonpolar, their molecules are not attracted to each other. The molecules of a polar solvent like water are attracted to other polar molecules, such as those of sugar. ... Ionic compounds, such as sodium chloride, are also highly soluble in water.

At a location, rainwater runs off the face of a cliff that is 15 meters high. How is the face of the cliff most likely to change
natka813 [3]

The answer is;  Physical weathering by water would carve out the face of the cliff.

The bottom of the cliff would register the greatest weathering because of the force of the water hitting the rocks in the fall. As a cave is curved from the base of the cliff, the overhanging part of the cliff eventually collapses hence retracting the cliff a small distance upstream of the river. The diagram below demonstrates this;
