I would say D because you can determine tone from a picture or words and sound but you can’t really ask the reporter what he thinks because it is a story.
Rabbits are called primary consumers, consuming plants, or in this case, grass (yes, they don't just eat carrots. In the wild they eat grass). Grass is a plant, and it depends on photosynthesis to make its own food. To make the food, it requires energy from the sun. To look more on this, look up some stuff about photosynthesis in your school science textbook. Without the sun, there would be no energy that the grass needs for photosynthesis to occur, henceforth, the grass will die. Without the grass (or any other vegetation, for that matter), rabbits will not be able to survive, since their food source diminishes and will disappear quickly. Therefore, the rabbits depend on the sun for the energy that it provides to its food source.
Also without the sun, the rabbits would freeze to death :P.
The British /English had a good effect on this because since they won, the land was there's and they got to expand. The Indians, on the other hand, had to find another place to live. The French probably weren't happy too because they thought they might win with the Indians but they didn't.
Sharecropping was a labor system in which one person and their family grew crops for a large landowner. The landowner would allow them to purchase tools, fertilizer, seed, etc... on credit and when the crop was harvested, the sharecropper would receive a "share" of the crop. Often it was not enough to pay off their credit and the cycle began again. Often known as another form of slavery, but 2/3 of sharecroppers were white.
