Out the 400,000 people who traveled the overland trails from 1842 to 1849, fewer than 400 were killed by Native Americans.
galben [10]

Answer:

That statement is true.

Explanation:

This happened during the westward expansion.

At that time, hundreds of thousands settlers from eastern colonies travelled toward western territories with the hope that they can occupy the land and opened up new business for themselves.

Conflicts with Native Americans did occurred during this process. But, most of them happened because the Settlers tried to occupy the land that is considered to be Ancestral land by the native Americans.

From approximately 400,000, the native only killed less than 400. But, the overexaggeration made by the settlers made it sounds like they're constantly hunted by the native Americans.

Why might the Nazis have wanted young people to separate from their families?
vovikov84 [41]

Maybe for power? The Nazis might have known that if you wanted to break a family apart, you could take the kids away from the parents. Since the parents dont want their kid harmed, or worse, they probably would do almost anything to save them. This might result in them fighting for the Nazis or supporting them, in order to save their young. With the parents depressed and searching for their young, the Nazis might have a smooth and easy takeover.

God bless

Explanation:

The civil rights movement drew many young people into a maelstrom of meetings, marches and imprisonment. Some were wide-eyed idealists pursuing a cause and ignoring any consequence. Others sensed they were making history, even though they didn’t know the outcome. And some were just kids, doing what kids do. All of them made history in exposing decades of institutional segregation, white supremacy, and oppression and stirring a nation into action
