Answer:

What does a being a good citizen entail, what are its properties? Being a responsible citizen of the United States is something that entails many decisions and actions. Being a good citizen of the United States might include calling law enforcement or just picking up litter on the side of the road.

Imagine that you are walking through your neighborhood and you witness a robbery. The robbery occurs at someones house that you don't know, you contemplate whether to call the police or to just let it go, the thoughts that go through your mind could be: you don't know that person, its none its none of your business, you could get targeted after calling, so you decide not to call. Next week its your house broken into and its the same man who broke into your neighbors house last week. Now rewind back to that moment when you could have called the police. Was choosing not to call being a good citizen of your neighborhood? More importantly was it being a good citizen of the U.S? Because you were scared, cautious, et cetera, you neglected your duty to report a crime. You allowed a robber to walk free from a crime and endanger the lives of the U.S. citizens all around you. Secondly, voting. As a voter it is every citizens right to elect a representative that will support their country. If you do not vote your are lessening the odds that a good representative will come to office. If a good representative is not elected into office then there are chances the countries economy will go down, experience shortages, et cetera. (Now mind you must be at least 18 to vote.) Voting is an essential right that must not ignored and pushed to the side or all else might fall.

In conclusion, citizens must make careful decisions in order to be a responsible citizen of the United States. This includes calling the law enforcement for dangers to our community and the the area around us, and exercising your right to vote for good and proper leadership.

Please select all of the things below that are powers shared between the States and the National government.
Mariulka [41]

All of the powers which are shared between the states and the national government are:

 • Establish courts
 • Establish and collect taxes
 • Conduct elections
 • Borrow money
 • Build roads

As a result of this, we can see that the state and federal government have different powers and functions which they have to undertake which is known as concurrent powers.

With this in mind, we can see that these powers are shared between both the state and federal government so that each can make their own laws which apply to their states and the federal government can also make laws which include building roads, establishing courts, borrowing money, etc
