total cookies John bought= 15 cookies,

Number of cookies john ate = 3 cookies

To Find:

Percentage of cookies John ate. =?

Solution:

We know that the formula of finding the percentage of any thing which is given as

percentage=\frac{(given value)}{(total value)}\times100

So according to question,  we have given value = 3

And Total value = 15

Now we will put these values in the formula of percentage to find out the % of cookies that he ate.

percentage=\frac{3}{15}\times100=20\%

In the graph, the constant of proportionality is 40

<h3>Calculating the constant of proportionality</h3>

From the question, we are to determine the constant of proportionality

The constant of proportionality = \frac{y}{x}

From the graph, a point on the line is (1, 40)

That is,

When x = 1 and y = 40

Thus,

The constant of proportionality = \frac{40}{1}

Constant of proportionality = 40

Hence, the constant of proportionality is 40
