What do the three boarders from the metamorphosis most clearly represent?

English

The three boarders are the three people who rent rooms at the Samsas' house. They are meant to represent society, and how cruel and unforgiving society can be. The middle boarder is the one who talks the most, but he conveys the thoughts that the three boarders are supposed to be having. The boarders are minor characters in the book, but their role is to challenge the authority of Mr. Samsa once he has re-established his authority as the head of the household.

COMMONLIT Text-Dependent question answers for A Good Man Is Hard To Find please help
Zigmanuir [339]

Answer:

A Good Man Is Hard To Find is described below in detail.

Explanation:

The story 'A Good Man is Hard to Find' principally trades with the underlying concept as well as the information that consolidates the story in a particular thought for example. 'brutal outcomes of lying and test of faith.' 'When somebody lies, the outcomes are usually terrible' most properly recognizes the underlying purpose(theme) of the novel. It exhibits how Grandmother's lie commences to the barbaric outcomes which lead the whole family to 'the mouth of death.

In what way does William Butler Yeats’s poem “From the ‘Antigone’” parallel Sophocles’s Antigone?
Marina86 [1]
I'd say the correct answer is A, because none of the other things are mentioned in this short poem. It just speaks about a dying woman, who is likely to be Antigone.

Answer:

152 words

Explanation:

Once I hit the age eleven I've had to watch over my older sister who has a disability. I would "babysit" her when my mom was busy, or outside, and I would have to make sure she was okay every 10 to 15 minutes. She is 26 years old and has a mind of a 4-7-year-old, which means I have to get her food, turn the lights on and off, plugging things in for her. Which of course I do not mind. She does get irritated with me at times when I try to help her since she is very independent. When I was eleven I only had to watch her for a short period of time, but as I got older the time expanded, now it mostly depends on what my mom is doing or if my brother is home. My situation is very similar to Squeaky and her brother Raymond.

What is the theme of "the medicine bag" and "translating grandfather's house"
mixer [17]

Answer:

CONFORMITY is the overarching concept in each of these works, which is why they are so strikingly similar. Both of them related a story about a person who altered his or her views or actions in order to fit in with the crowd.

Explanation:

Translating Grandfather's House and The Medicine Bag have a shared universal theme of conformity, which is an individual who matches their views, beliefs, and behaviors with organizations that they desire. In order to fit in, the major characters in the novel altered their beliefs or behaviors.
