Temperature on Monday = 60 degree Fahrenheit

On Tuesday increase in temperature = 18% = \frac{18}{100} = 0.18

Increase in temperature = 60 * 0.18 = 10.8 degree Fahrenheit

Temperature on Tuesday = 60 + 10.8 = 70.8 degree Fahrenheit

Temperature increase from Monday to Tuesday = Temperature on Tuesday - Temperature on Monday

Temperature increase from Monday to Tuesday = 70.8 - 60 = 10.8 degree Fahrenheit

Blizzard [7]
Well, if this is assuming there is no tax on the vehicle and it is fully paid off by the end of the payments, an equation can be set up like the following. 385x+1500=C, x being months and C being total cost. 385(12*4)+1500= C, 385(48)+1500=C, 18480+1500=C, 19980=C.

your gym membership cost $33 per month after an initial membership fee. you paid a total of $228 after 6 months. writer an equat
grin007 [14]

Answer:

what i did was multiply 33*6 and got 198 and then 228-198 to find out that the initial fee was 30 dollars. then multiply 33*9+30 to get a 9-month total cost of $327

Step-by-step explanation:

cost = $33 per month + fee

1. c(m) = 33m + f

33(6) + f = 228

198 + f = 228

f = $30 membership fee

c(m) = 33m + 30

2. at 9 months: 33(9) + 30 = $327

hopefully this helps :)

Create an inequality for the situation below.

Please help!!
OlgaM077 [116]

1 gallon of milk costs 0.50 more than 5 times a gallon of water.

From that information milk is 5x +0.50 the cost of water.

The cost of milk is $3.75, so now we have:

3.75 = 5x + 0.50

Subtract 0.50 from each side:

3.25 = 5x

Divide both sides by 5:

X = 3.25 / 5

x = 0.65

The cost of water = $0.65
