Temperature on Monday = 60 degree Fahrenheit

On Tuesday increase in temperature = 18% = \frac{18}{100} = 0.18

Increase in temperature = 60 * 0.18 = 10.8 degree Fahrenheit

Temperature on Tuesday = 60 + 10.8 = 70.8 degree Fahrenheit

Temperature increase from Monday to Tuesday = Temperature on Tuesday - Temperature on Monday

Temperature increase from Monday to Tuesday = 70.8 - 60 = 10.8 degree Fahrenheit

What are the sizes of angles a, b, c and d?
Lilit [14]

Answer:

a = 26°

b = 48°

c = 26°

d = 106°

Step-by-step explanation:

c +  {154}^{o}  =  {180}^{o}  \\ c =  {180}^{o}  -  {154}^{o}  \\ c =  {26}^{o}

a = c (Alternate angles)

a =  {26}^{o}

b =  {48}^{o}

Corresponding angles

(a + d) + b = 180° (Interior angles)

{26}^{o}  + d +  {48}^{o}  =  {180}^{o}  \\ d +  {74}^{o}  =  {180}^{o}  \\ d =  {180}^{o}  -  {74}^{o}  \\ d =  {106}^{o}

Parallelogram ABCD has vertices at A(-2,3), B(4,3), C(-1,1). What is the length of side AB? Answer choices ;
telo118 [61]

Answer:

D)6 units

Step-by-step explanation:

the answer is D because since side AB have the same y coordinate then you would have to either subtract or add the x. if one point on x is negative and the other is positive then you would add. but if they were both positive or both negative then you would subtract the x.

Solve for x. 3/4 = x/12 <br> I need work shown to
marta [7]

\frac{3}{4} = \frac{x}{12}

To solve for x you have to bring the 12 to the other side

How  do we do this?

Well if you think about it this is technically what the equation shows

\frac{3}{4} = x * \frac{1}{12}

This means to isolate x you can multiply both sides by 12 and that will cancel \frac{1}{12} from the right side

\frac{3}{4} * 12 = x * \frac{1}{12} * 12

\frac{36}{4} = x * 1\\\frac{36}{4}  = x

\frac{36}{4} can be further simplified to...

9

^^^This is the answer

Check:

3/4 = 9/12

3/4 = 3/4

Hope this helped!
